More about the guest-of-honor:
Mrs Lim was the first woman to serve in Singapore’s Cabinet when she was appointed Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for Transport in 2009. Following her political career, Mrs Lim now holds the appointments of non-executive director at Jardine Cycle & Carriage, Senior Advisor at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, and also independent non-executive director on Ernst & Young’s Global Advisory Council.

Mrs Lim will speak on government and business, elaborating on the role governments play in developing strategic sectors, transitioning from state-owned to private enterprises and the delicate nature of bailouts of “too-big-to-fail” businesses. Using examples from around the world, Mrs Lim will offer a thoughtful analysis of current trends and insights for the future.
